Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso is a wine with a strong, pleasant scent that recalls blackberries and liquorice. Persistent, savory and with a full-flavour, has well balanced tannins and an intense colour with violet reflections.
The production area embraces a vast stirp of the Friuli Region plain: an environment with a marked wine-making vocation, in which the grapes grow strong and rich, favored by the nature of the land and the favorable climatic conditions.
The grape are gently pressed and the juice is fermented by leaving the skins in contact with it for 5-6 days at a controlled temperature. Subsequently the skins are separated and the wine is transferred into the tanks for the alcoholic and malolactic fermentations. After this all the processes of clarification, filtration and stabilization take place which end with the bottling.
