With its straw yellow colour, Prosecco DOC Extra Dry is characterized by its round, fresh, fragrant taste and its elegant and complex fruity bouquet. Fine and long-lasting perlage makes perfect as an aperitif wine.
The production area includes a wide surface on the plain of the Friuli Region. In this land, well-known for its profound winemaking expertise, the nature of the soil and the particularly mild climate have contributed to create the best conditions for the vine growth.
After the harvest, the grapes are subjected to soft pressing. The grape-must is fermented in steel tanks at a controlled temperature, to preserve the natural aromas of the grape. The base wine, with the addition of selected yeasts and sugars, is refermented in autoclave (Charmat-Martinotti method) at a controlled temperature. At the end of the refermentation follows the stabilization and filtration process, concluding with the bottling.
